Family Days Concert

DSC_0014ChamberLab was thrilled to perform for the University of Arizona Poetry Center’s Family Day event on Saturday, October 31st (spooky!), 2015. We all wore capes!

Family Days is a series of creative writing workshops for youth ages 0-13. One Saturday a month, youth and their parents are invited to attend hour-long workshops together from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Workshops are followed by breakfast concerts by local musicians, in this case, ChamberLab! Drop-in activities happen until 1 P.M. All classes feature creative, fun, age-appropriate activities. Parents and youth may select the workshop that works best for them.

ChamberLab performed quartet, trio, and duet arrangements of many of our favorite works. Performers included Chris Black on double bass, Anne Gratz (principal cellist of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra) on cello, Cassandra Bendickson (founder of Tucson’s Church of Beethoven) on bassoon, and Marco Rosano (of Y la Orkesta) on clarinet and bass saxophone.
